A very low air pressure (0.030MPa) is needed for this turntable to work properly. The pressure is easily produced by a silent compressor, which is an inseparable part of the turntable.

The way the arm is operated on the air cushion is quite simple. Thanks to the pressure from the compressor, the arm bearing is able to detach and levitate in the air along the guide. The pressure to the bearing is provided by a thin silicone hose.

Precise execution of the arm elements and reduction of losses allowed for the use of very low air pressure which reduced the compressor’s noise to absolutely zero.

The arm has a tilting system for easier handling and changing the plate. Thanks to the large calibration option, the arm can support most of the MM / MC cartridges available on the market.

Motor:

A silent DC motor (12V) was used to drive the disc. The motor next to the acrylic plate realizes the drive with two thin silicone straps.

The plate bearing consists of a sleeve made of bronze and a high-gloss polished axis. The whole plate is based on two balls immersed in an oil bath. The bearing is made with high precision so that an oil film is created between the two friction elements.

The turntable can play discs recorded at 33 and 45 r.p.m. The control panel located on the side of the turntable serves the purpose of changing the speed as well as correcting the rotation of the disc. As a standard, a high-quality power supply unit located in the compressor is attached to the turntable. This allowed the compressor to be controlled from the desktop on the turntable.
